I just finished rplacing my SPI with a Zetec. The Zetec came out of a 2001 just like the one I put it into. (It ran fine in the donor car.) When I started it, the engine idled at 4800 RPM. I drove it 10 miles to make sure the computer had time to get used to the swap. It still idles at 4800 RPM. When I pull the MAF connector off, it settles down to a very rough idle level, but the instant I plug the connector back in it goes back to 4800 RPM. Any ideas what could be wrong?
