so whats the difference with these!?

From what I've heard from people with more experience- both do the same thing, but the Torsen has a more dogged engagement. In layman's terms, the Quaife would be best for autocross, and the Torsen would be best for drag racing if that helps explain.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

Either one would cut down on tire spin during take-off.

If that was the case then why does Ford use the Torsen in their rally cars? I think the definition of dogged engagement means that the Torsen is more likely to keep both wheels engaged, whereas the Quaife shifts torque more easily to the wheel with traction.
