[I need to focus]

And to the focus. My friend has one and I love it. My question is let's say i find a focus for around 1k with a crap ton of miles on it. Or a blown motor. Either way i plan to turbo it so would it be worth rebuilding the motor or just spending 3 to 4k on a perfectly running focus

If you've got a line on a Focus for a grand that has a good interior, solid body, and a suspension that isn't a basket case someone on the site is selling a 2.3 Duratec and MTX75. All said and done you could find your way into a pretty quick Focus for about 3 grand and a pile of labor.

3-4 grand for a car that is reliable and solid saves all the swap time.

Either way, look to spend an additional 5 grand on making a turbo car correctly.
