was there a question?

I would recommend get some 1000 and 1500 grit sand paper to wet sand and smooth out that 600grit scratches before primer.

Always sand from low to high.. Try multiple methods you find online. I always make sure that I buy a ton of sand paper and do test spots on similar materials I have laying around. See how that works out for you, prime some piece of metal you have lying around and try different grits, you'll get it. Trial and error :)

Did you dry sand, or wet sand? I always wet sand with a smoother paper and do it for longer. You can always take more off, but once it's gone, it's either gone for good, or a pain to start over.

Wet sanding is generally the preferred method when doing anything body work
