I have been reading a lot and I think that the snorkle delete with drop in filter may be better than my FSWERKS CAI.

Has anyone run the Ford racing snorkel on a non ST? Since the front bumper covers are different does it put it in a spot to pull cold air from? If it does, I will agree 100% that the ford racing kit would be the best option.

It is installed on my car and fits perfectly. I have a 14 SE and I had a 13 ST before.

Interesting..think that st snorkel is benefitting you? I have a steeda personally which is not the same as those filters as its boxed in. It does have the large hose to pull air from however so I'm curious to know of this snorkel will help with air temps / flow.

Don't know but the sound is awesome. My car have Tom's work and a FRPP CAI and it pulls harder than my wife 13 SE.

The snorkel basically extends from the naked inlet (mount left after a snorkel delete) downward and forward to bring the entry point of the air A) marginally lower but B) more readily accessible from the outside and theoretically makes air flow less restricted by not forcing the intake to suck from at times a space of "dead air" (directly beneath the shroud) when air isn't flowing explicitly into the vicinity of the mounting point.

I've done some research on this as well. I have a KN intake system (not just the filter) and have thought about the snorkle delete...

After talking to Duane about it he said it probably would not be worth the time, as he had an intake and ran snorkle delete. If I recall what he said correctly he said the snorkle had a bit more torque, less feel up top, with the intake system being the other way around.

From what I gather its not a HUGE difference. Lower torque range would be nice but I always am stabbing the throttle wide open and see a lot of 6.5k shifts[driving] so I like that higher end power...
