My mom broke her spring in her SE and I am going to replace the entire strut/spring assembly (because it was only $45 bucks from the salvage yard and way easier).

But when i was diagnosing her problem I noticed her bolts/nuts (the 3 on the strut mount) are terribly rusted and nasty. So before i do the install I want to buy replacements just in case and to replace them. Anyone know the size?

Look.....bolts/nuts are referred to by the diameter of the threads, and not the size of the wrench you use.

My '06 has 8mm nuts on the studs. The thread pitch is .125......

The wrench you use to tighten the things is either 13mm or 14mm, depending on the nut. This size doesn't matter, as long as the nut is 8mm.

These are special nuts with a built-in washer......although a normal nut could be used with a washer/loc-washer.
