Hey all, so I have a silly question about the rear sway bars on our cars.

Mine doesn't have one! I was under it the other day and didn't see one anywhere. I've been looking into getting a Whiteline rear sway bar and replacing the front links (don't feel like replacing the front sway bar itself, looked into it on alldata at work and it looks like a legendary hassle), but I am curious how the rear sway bar is mounted onto the car.

Thanks in advance!

Cars that didn't come with one are also missing the mounting tabs on the rear subframe. (hang down from it)

All is not lost however, as clamp on mounting kits are available. Member experience has shown that welding those on eventually prevents the inevitable squeaks as those move slightly, something to keep in mind to do/have done if that problem shows up.

Some skip the "kit" step and make their own mounts, easiest if you have the brackets for the chosen mounting bushings available.

Search this section & you can find examples & pictures in older threads.

Rear bar is a worthwhile improvement!
