I have a 06 zx-3 5-speed,and I was curious what the proper shift points would be during a racing scenario for maximum acceleration. Thanks!

my guess would be at about
30 mph for 1st
53 mph for 2nd
87 mph for 3rd
i think that is about what i do...dont know the rest of the gears..

Redline 1st and 2nd then shift around 6k rpms from there on out. That's had the best results for me.

Yep no Tach, but I've been driving a manual for years so i can kinda guess the rpms and tell when near the red-line.

handbook says:
from 1st to 2nd gear @ 14mph, you obviously don't want that...[:D]
