O and just a question...I don't know much about turbos so does it matter where the BOV is? I have seen them close to the exhaust manifold, and on yours it is right by the intake.

Yes. To be honest, I am stuck in the old escort cosworth mind set where you mount the bov as close as possible to the TB.

Don't really know... Nevertheless I have zero compressor surge and a car that sounds like a fighter jet! Turbosmart's quality is spot on!

i thought that you had to mount it before the MAF? if you had the bov after the maf wouldnt it think that the air that was metered was going into the engine? not into the atmosphere?

i could be wrong just but it makes sence to me

Does the RS run off a MAF or does it run off a MAP. If it runs off a MAP then you can have the BOV pretty much wherever you want.

Hi guys, thanks for the nice comments... [ffrocks]

With reference to the MAF - the stock focus rs runs a suck through setup.

I run a completely new standalone EMS system which runs off a map sensor.

With reference to the power output the car is making around 390hp.

It currently runs stock bottom end and head with some custom camshafts and FR intake manifold.

I will get the car back on the 10th of January so lots of videos to do!
