I've had a few posts of the things I've done but I thought a build thread would better centralize that... and so I made one :).

Having lived in NYC my whole life and the focus being my first car, I am pretty new to driving and cars in general. I actually discovered the forum as I was deciding to get a focus. I would search through all the threads looking at all the amazing things others have done to their cars. Anyway, I got a Sterling Grey Titanium Hatchback with the Handling Pkg, which I love. I actually ordered the car from factory with the specs I wanted. I debated getting the body kit but it didn't include the main thing I wanted, a more aggressive spoiler. Since the car is brand new I didn't want to change anything drastic while it was still under warranty or until I gained more experience with cars. Most of the changes are cosmetic with performance mods possibly in the future.
^ Looking back at this, I think I've done a lot....

SGM Titanium Hatchback '14 - TI Handling Pkg. (Auto)

Current Changes To Date [3/9/2015]:
- Konig Oversteer 18" - Gloss Black Wheels w/ stock summer tires
- Dip badges - Black Gloss
- TFB Designs Overlays - Black on Grey
- Weather Tech Wind Deflectors - Smoke
- Weather Tech Floor + Cargo mats - Black
- LED Headlights w/ 5000k HIDS
- Rokblokz Mud Flaps - Black
- LED Tail Lights - Clear Black
- K&N Drop-in Air Filter + Snorkel Delete
- 20% Tint all around except windshield
- Blizzak LM-32s on dipped stock 18" wheels
- Cravenspeed Stubby Antenna
- FSWERKS RMM Insert
- Steeda Rear Sway Bar
- Magnaflow Cat-back Exhaust 15072

Didn't realize cars and having a car would be so expensive $_$....or rather what I've put into it.

------ Future Additions (If budget allows)----------
Functional:
- Fog lights...LED or HID...Yellow
- CPC Hood Struts

Cosmetic:
- Dip whiskers & add a silver line in the lower part of the grille
- Add silver accents to the engine cover and area
- Rear Spoiler - 3D Carbon//Ford Sport Zetec Spoiler // Ford Winglets
- RDC 2012-2014 Ford Focus Rear Emblem Delete
- GTG Billet Grille w/ Full Upper
- Attempt to make a straight edge on the hood.
- Paint Skirts, Front and Rear Variances

Performance:
- TRR Upper Motor Mount
- Steeda ST Cold Air Inlet
- Tune (far future)
- OBX or Magnaflow Header + Cat (Far far future)

^ I wouldn't want to lower the car at all, it seems to be the perfect height/stance to me already. Also I couldn't justify lowering it with Michigan's crappy roads and weather. I am not sure what other performance mods there are apart from suspension, catback, cai, tune, - but it would be nice to have more low end power without pricey extensive mods.

Any suggestions, advice, or knowledge is welcome :) Thanks!

Car (Current):

When I first picked up the car:

* First drove back with the new car thru the crazy flooding around the Detroit area......was not fun D:

p.s. I don't have a garage to work on my car like most of you =/. I've done all my modifications on the street, in parking structures or lots........mostly in winter too.
Also I may be the minority here, but I find it strange calling my car a "she/her", imop. My car is actually named after a grey rabbit I used to have, Pancakes (dude bunny).... which may be even stranger :p but the car does feel small sporty and aggressive with just being a DD.

Thanks!

Decided I wanted another set of black wheels for summer and have the stock 18's for winter. The Konig Oversteer wheels were pretty cheap to other options. Almost got some TSW - Riverage that had a Volvo wheel look or TSW - Nurburgring, but they were a bit too pricey.

Konig Oversteer 18" - Black Gloss

They are quite hard to see in the pictures, but I like them in person. Nice n lite too.

I like the look. Definitely shows off the brakes. How much did they run you if you mind me asking?

Yup, they were $168 ea. from CarID...the low end of the price spectrum from what i've seen. I think the TSW - Riverage wheels were on sale for just a bit more from TireRack when I was looking, but opted to go with the Konigs.
+ I like the silver contrast from the brakes

Installed some WeatherTech Rain Deflectors - Dark Smoke

^ I used to hate them on cars but now I kinda like them. + They are useful for rain and letting in some air. The rear deflectors don't fit well and aren't as useful due to the shape of the window. They have a horrible gap and the tape provided does nothing. I may take off the rears in the future.

^ Here you can see the gap and tape sticking out, even though its shoved all the way in. Just doesn't seem to fit quite right. The front deflectors fit perfectly and were easy to install.

Got some TFB Overlays in black on grey. I wish they were a bit more glossy / more similar to the Gel Overlays from Europe. The blue had to go tho, just didn't match with the Grey/Silver/Black color scheme.

Rear:

^ might dip the chrome around the emblem
Steering Wheel:

Front:

I may try and add plasti dip glossifer over it to make it blend in more. The overlays are definitely worth it tho. An inverse of grey on black may have also been nice. Also dipped the rear badges glossy black, but don't have any pictures.

looks good!
Thanks :), I really like your car. One of the best looking cars on this forum, imop.
Plus I like the pics on the airfield.

My car when I first got it, next to my friends ST:

Hes actually done a lot to his car... tint, headlights, taillights, exhaust, etc.

Anyway, I kinda splurged on my LED Headlights... I wanted something different then the Spyders with the top bar and the led chunks on the side. I knew when I saw these I had to get them. Plus they looked amazing on angelius974's car. I considered getting similar ones from Asia with the "eyebrow" and halo ring, but I liked the jaggedness of these:

Shipped from Asia on eBay. They are not available in the US as far as I am aware. The similar eyebrow and halo ring is also from Asia but there are some companies selling or at least shipping from/within the US.

Installed:

I had a bit of trouble installing them due to lack of experience (outlined in another post), but I'm happy to say they are fully functional now. I was using a Relay Harness before (which I didn't actually need) and it failed on me when I was out driving at night in the rain...kinda scary getting home. They dont seem to fit as flush as the OEM headlights and i still need to adjust the passenger HID, but they look so good :D

5000k - White HID

If you notice, most of my photos are kinda random shots with my phone sometimes with filters on them. Don't have nice pics like the rest of you all :p

Another side shot after some rain:

Got my Blizzak - LM32s fitted on the stock 18' Wheels. Decided to Dip them black for winter prep:

It was actually pretty windy so the cards were flopping around and messed up the dip on the very edge a bit.

5x Coats of Black:

5x Coats of Black + 2-3 of Clear Glossifier:

I think they turned out pretty nicely. Maybe in the future I will get them painted. Also didn't coat the inside of the rims as nicely as I would like.

Black Rokblokz:

Front was easy to install, but was too lazy to remove the rear wheels so i drove around with only front flaps for a while [screwy]

LED Taillights: (Clear Black)

I like this style of LED tail lights the best from the others I've seen. I'm also happy they had a clear black version, but I might tint the areas other than the LED, break, and reverse lights. The fit is pretty good. It definitely won't scratch the paint near the front, if anything it seems to have a bunch of space from the body (but still flush/in line). They are also a great addition to the general color scheme.

Snorkel Deleted. Replaced the snorkel with the ST inlet (unnecessary but decided to do it anyway) it was only $4. I decided to leave the shroud the way it is, did want to cut anything on a brand new car. Dropped in a K&N filter. When screwing the lid back on i kind wrecked the brackets- they seemed quite weak.
+ Engine cover

oh i also taped up the thin gap between the tubes and inlet as others have done.

Decided to swap to my Winter wheels at ....3am in a school lot nearby. The only well lit flat surface area near me =/.

Also finally put on the rear rokblokz flaps:

Winter wheels:

I actually forgot to take off a small plastic spacer from the summer wheels, so I had to do everything twice [?|].
Apparently someone called the cops thinking I was breaking into cars
-_-..... and they ran up on me with guns drawn [80?] kinda over the top if you ask me.

Still finished tho:

I'm glad I swapped them early, bcos it started snowing a few days later:

Hey Will, your car's lookin sharp. Couple of questions and one suggestion:
1) weight of the Konigs ?
2) could you post picture of the LED tails ?

Suggestion: consider some Gorilla (or other brands) lug nuts. A chance to introduce your first bit of color. Also, the Gorillas are smaller and sleeker than the OEM's.
Be very careful when installing cause you don't wanna be scratching your nuts. You can spray a bit of plasti dip into the socket for scratch protection.

Good luck. Brooklyn boy here prior to migration to Georgia.

1 - not sure of the wieght, i checked CarID and Konig but can't find any info... its "One-Piece Cast in Aerospace Quality Aluminum Alloy" and has certain rim structure to make it lighter or so it says.
2- I don't think I really have anymore pictures of the LED tails other than the ones i've already posted. you'll probably see more in the future when i have time.

yea i might get diff ones after winter. i kinda liked the silver lugs but could try to get more color
