Got several questions regarding my SVTF that Ive only had for 2 weeks now. This is my first Ford in over 10 years and my first higher-performance model, so bear with me. [cool]

1. Will any ol' oil filter from, say, Qwik Lube suffice, or should I take it to Ford for an oil change?

2. Tom's Tune... what does it entail? Better MPG? More performance?

3. Im thinking about replacing my coil pack, as I still have a hesitation even after dropping in a K&N and cleaning the MAF sensor. Any recommendations as to what brand is the best?

4. What are the best plugs and wires? Factory OEM SVT wires? Bosch platinum plugs? NGK plugs?

5. Anyone bought a alternator pulley from AEM for their SVTF? Was it worth it?

6. Where can I find the clear front bumper running light covers? Ive looked around the 'net (not too extensively) and couldnt find anything.

7. Someone recommended I shorten the antenna. How is this possible?

just the zetec filter will work for it.

2. Tom's Tune... what does it entail? Better MPG? More performance?
toms tune works out the bugs in the stock tune and also better drivability as well as most pick up a few ponies

coil pack isnt worth it. better wires and some copper cores will do the trick

i have motorcraft copper cores in my svt as well as the fordracing wires

ebay or on the forum occasionally

just cut it, pull the cap off and boil it for a few then stick the rubber plug back on

3. IMO not needed unless the stock coil has or is failing. Most likely the loss of performance is from a large spark gap or just lack of maintenance.

4. Loaded question at best, but the Motorcraft coppers are widely used and recommended as well as the stock Motorcraft double platinum's.

5. Not sure, but probably not worth it I'd guess.

6. Anything for a Normal Focus will fit far as side markers go.
