My Serpentine belt on my 2007 Ford Focus SE needs replacement. But, when I look for a new belt (my car has AC) there are two versions of it, one of them is a "california emissons" version. Do they really use different belts? (or is one part number just an "approved" version?)

I am nowhere near Cali but again I don't know the history of this car at all.

P.S: What would be a good brand of belt to get? Is Duralast ok?

CA emissions (PZEV engine) used in CO, CT, DE, ME, MD, MA, NJ, NM, NY, OR, PA, RI, VT, WA, and DC. I believe the belt is different (length) because the PZEV engine uses a different alternator/pulley.
