so i replaced a vacuum hose under the manifold, when i put the whole manifold back on and started it...

it idles high and when i stay on the gas it takes a while for the rpms to go back down to idle. can it be because i disconnected the throttle body or MAF sensor when i pulled the throttle body out?

it has a real nasty tick sounds like it's coming from the first cylinder.. any ideas? didn't do this before. but i'm not sure it's related to what i did? maybe dirt got into that cylinder since the valves were slightly open when i pulled the manifold out?
