Well, I have a more or less unmodified 08 Focus sedan, but i didnt feel like getting the leather seats for 600$. So now im looking for some decent seat covers for a reasonable price. BUT, i have a problem, my front seats have airbags in them. This narrows down what i can get considerably, so i look to the focus experts here to guide me to some good covers![:p]

Are you looking for a slip-on cover or a more expensive set? I bought an inexpensive Elegant brand set, from Advance......Had them on for five months now, and I still love the things. There are silver leather covers under these cheap covers.....I like the cheap one better. You can also get them in black/blue or black/silver.

Now those are what im looking for! Thanks man, only one question, do these have the holes or panels for the seat controls, im less worried about the controls but they have to be airbag ready. will those work for airbags?

The sides of the covers are stretch fabric, and they sort-of go around the control lever.

Air bags.....don't know. There's nothing specific about the cover designed for an airbag. Where those bags are located....I suspect a deploying bag would just split the cover. I'm guessing here.

I have the Seat Covers from Coverking for both the front seats and I just got them for the rear seat about 2 weeks ago.
They are the fake leather but custom made to your rides interior I think they are around $250 for the front and around $240 for the rear .

Hm, well part of my problem is i kinda have an inside source, and unless the seat covers are designed for over airbag use it will deploy incorrectly. My dad actually works for ford, hes a hybrid system specialist. You might have seen him on Jay Leno's website. So yea, apparently if its not made for the airbags your in trouble. So anyone know of some decent ones?

Il admit those are pretty good, but i actually went and looked at advanced auto parts and the Elegant Brand covers ARE NOT airbag compatible. And yea my dad works for ford, but it still costs alot of money to get new seats put in...

Well there was a company from Hawaii called Wet Okele but I can't find anything on them now. Huh, must have closed shop. They were custom tailored seat covers made from neoprene, which is the same material wet-suits are made from. They came in all kinds of colors, styles, colored piping, whatever you wanted.

I'll see if I can't find more info for you.

Iv had a couple sets of Wet Okole's there about the best looking, fitting seat covers you will find and one of the most expensive. The only problem with them is there not very durable for a daily driver the drivers side seat only last me about a year and a half on both sets before the black neoprene wears through then they look like crap.
