I was just wondering if the SCT Xcalibrator 2 is compatible with an 06 2.0L focus. I found one for under $200. I will eventually get a tune, plus I have a CEL now and I was thinkin that the xcal might be useful.

The device will work fine on the vehicle. Are you buying a preprogrammed unit or a custom tuned unit?

At any rate, be careful buying them used. If the previous didn't return their vehicle back to stock the device will need to be unlocked by us and there will be a fee for that service.

Yeah, it's used and I saw it listed on eBay. And we all know how things can be when buying over the internet this. This is the listing though. It is supposedly unlocked. What do you think? Worth it for $50 and it works for 2006 Focus?

If you can get it for 50 yes, wouldnt be too bad a fee to get unlocked i think. Like blivit said, be very careful, i know a few ppl that got ones that were "unlocked" but were locked when they arrived.
