im looking into gettting the SCT shortly after i instal my headers, but im not completely sure what this is going to do for my car. Can anyone help me by telling me what advantages i will be getting with this.

should i do the tune myself or would you recomend i take it to someone. i have now idea how to do this and would rather not. I live in palm beach and can only think of Steeda down in Pompano that can do this for me.

tell them what mods you have & they will program it for you. some of the custom settings are for those who have alot of modifications like cams & what not. you just plug it in and drive!
you can get a X-cal 2 flasher or a
4 bank switchable chip both come with base programs already to go. just give them a call, they can explain everything better.

Don't waste your money on a mailorder tune get it tuned right locally.

ya if you have someone near by, being in montana sucks. only one dyno in the whole place and they don't do sct.. :me so sad!:

could a person use the x cal 2 with a base perf. tune, then data log on a dyno and send you the logged info. for a more persice tune?? i'm going to need a new tune this fall sometime. & i wanna sell the sct/ switch chip. I like thew idea of more adjustability.

yea but ive heard SCT tunes are very reliable and work great. I dont really know any tuning places around south florida and i was going to take it to Steeda
