i have a 2001 zx3 and just bought the screamin demon coil and live wires, the installation seems strait foward, but the old coil sits flush on the bracket, where as the screamin coil has 2 bulges under it so it cant sit flush, am i supposed to just let it sit on the plastic bumps, or shoud i buy spacers and new hardware so it sits up, or do i mod the bracket to accomidate the underside?

i used to have that setup, i removed the bracket and notched out the bottom. fit great after that. alot of people just mount them how it sits. shouldn't hurt it.

also, you could do what you said and buy some nylon spacers from Home Depot or Lowes. you can use the bolts that come with the kit, they are M5X.8. just find spacers with the correct inner diameter. also, they should be about 5/8" tall. i wanted the coil to sit a little lower, so i modified my coil bracket.
