So I'm possibly about to pickup a 2005 ST with no SAP and the cloth interior. How hard would it be to get the suede n leather interior and install it? How hard are the heated seats to hookup/install. Is it possible to install SVT HEATED SEATS or the leather RECAROS?

You can swap the seats in under 15 minutes. It's a matter of unbolting the old ones and putting in the new ones. If your old seats had heat then the new leather seats just plug in, if not you have to wire up the seats and switches yourself which brings your project up to a whole other level.

Did the black and red cloth ST seats have a heated option? Is there any kind of breakdown that shows the differences between the 05,06, & 07 STs? I can't fins anything on search. Anyone know if the SVT seats will fit in a ST?

That being the case do the rear SVT seats fit in a ST also? How hard would it be to install say some EAP seats into the ST AND hook up the heated seat function? Do all STs have the wiring for the heated seat feature and are plug n play? Just install the seats and buttons?

well if you have an st i would guess it should have the wiring for it and just need the seats and buttons. as for the back seat i believe they will fit however im not sure. if they do you might need to adjust the alignment of the latch on the back of the seat so that it will latch.

All front seats on foci from 00-07 are interchangeable at will. The back seats are slightly different between hatch/sedan/wagon.

If you do not have the heated seats option in your car, you will have to run the wiring, buttons, fuses, relays, etc to make them work.

Im not familiar with any focus that came with a suede interior, but changing the panels in the doors to the cloth of your choice is pretty easy, there's a tutorial around here somewhere.

Well I'm not sure about the heated seats but thanks for the info on the front seats. The 05-07 zx4 ST had the option of 2 interiors. A black and red cloth and a grey suede and black leather options. Where is the wiring run from/to? Would it be as simple as swapping the dash/ center console with that of a one from a ST with heated seats?

Some STs came wired for heated seats, even though that option wasn't selected by the first purchaser. The wiring and plugs will be between the front seats inside/beneath the console. I have never sat in an ST with the leather option, I do have SVT seats in my ST, and they are a huge improvement over the cloth seats. BUT, getting the air bag light off is still an issue. Although it will be rare to find the interior, it is pretty nice. There are not many of them that end up for sale, as most people dont swap out that interior unless the car is totaled .
