hello all... I finally get to pick my new focus up tomorrow; and was thinking about getting Krown rust proofing done on it right away...Just curious if anyone knows if this will void the warranty...I have read in some forums that the dealership sometimes tells you it will so that you will get their protection, Which in my case is that electronic rust inhibitor. to much money and not to many good reviews about them. I have used Krown for many years in the past but never on a new vehicle with a warranty

don't think it will. you could ask your dealer about undercoating. when i got my 04 the underside of the car had like a rubber coating.

the dealer might be able to do undercoating and give you a warranty on it

no need. cars come with lots of rust protection form the factory.

Sure the frame is galvanized, but you can never have enough protection for your car in Canada!!! The winters are hard enough on the cars, but the ton of salt per square inch on the roads is incredibly hard on the cars!!!!!!
