Im sure this has been asked but i couldnt find anything in the search addressing all the questions I have.

Id like to possible uprade the front brake calipers to the RS spec Brembo units. I know you can buy the calipers and pads seperate from the whole front suspension/brake kit that Ford sells..but i also know that the calipers arent a direct bolt on application.

What all is needed to do the conversion? new brake lines? will they fit on the stock SVT front rotors? new carriers and mounting hardware?

any info would be greatly appreciated

I don't think the RS calipers would fit, at least not if you bought a direct-fit RS kit. Brembo does sell their GT kit for the SVTF (and any Focus equipped with SVT front spindles.) Although, given the hefty pricetag of $1500+, unless you're a serious road racer with sponsors/race for money, I'd suggest not spending that much on front brakes alone.
