Ok, so I have a 2009 ses coupe and I want to get a roof rack. I have seen the Yakima racks that require the bar in between the two cross bars. I'm wondering if anyone has done anything different, seen anything different or has input on the idea.

Also, if you know anyone who has one for sale that would be cool. I'm not paying $400+ retail.

I have the inno brand rack. Got it off autoanything.com. I'd check it out.

Do you have pictures of how you mounted it? From that website, I cant see how it would fit on the roof. I also have a coupe, so im not sure if that makes a difference.

It mounts in the door jam and the rubber piece that runs along the seams on the roof. I dont have any close up shots. The coupe does make a slight difference. Not sure how much but I know it cost more

I have a yakima rack. and i like it but it eats miles per gallon. without my rack, I average 34 mpg with the rack. i get maybe 30.
