I put my stealth cai on last wednesday an then went on a 1500 mile road trip with my wife. Car ran great except the cel came on twice. Unhooking the battery cleared it each time and on the way home it never came on. Im gonna have it scanned for codes later this week. Rep to Daveyboy for his info on his cai, it helped out alot thanks.[driving]

Edit, the car was also packed with 400lbs of camping gear an 2 adults, still averaged 34mpg.

Did you disconnect the battery after you did the intake mod?


Doing this for 15 minutes helps the computer re-learn it parameters that it can operate under with the new intake.

I did thats why i was surprised that the cel came on. But it does idle a bit funny sometimes like a little up an down wave. The MAF is in right its clean an everything is sealed up nice an tight no leaks on my CAI.

I was just wondering because I have the same intake. Granted my car is an 08 with drive by wire, that might be the difference but i am not to sure. But I never got any check engine lights because of my intake.
