It should be fine mine is about at that position, plus when the car is running not all 4 quarts are in the pan

I didn't install the kit, just tidying up the job.

Ron is an incredable welder, he has welded chopper frames to NASCAR parts.

Thanks, the kit gave him an aluminum jam nut for a steel fitting. With those threads and the soft metal it would have never stayed tightened.
If anyone did need one welded you could center punch the hole and we would weld it in there.
I'm just trying to help a friend, not pimping. He is a easy to deal with and a great asset to know , very reasonable pricing. I can post more pics of his welding.

Tom: A pic of your pan with the fitting welded in.

We are going to do one into the lower cradle next for the Vortech kit. I don't like their bore hole bit method, we will remove drill and weld.
