I have a 2000 zx3. My clutch is demolished and I need to get it replaced quick. I don't really want to take it somewhere because thats a lot money I believe. I haven't replaced a clutch before but my friend and I are pretty sure we can do it and I know I have to drop the transmission... So really what im asking is for any input on the matter. Whether you guys think I should take it to the shop or just go ahead ourselves or if you know of any tricks or tips for this install. Thanks guys

You should be able to handle it with your friends help of you already have some wrench time.

I am dreading the day my clutch needs to be changed. Buy your friends some beer, actually on second thought maybe safety first for this one!

the correct tools, PB blaster, and a lot of time will get it done

keep in mind you will most likely need to drop the k frame
