Top line...

*Kits, harnesses, and connectors – when available – are included free with receivers priced $129.99 and above and with all speakers. MasterSheet™ instructions – when available – are included free with all receiver and speaker purchases. This installation gear and info is available for most, but not all, vehicles. Some vehicles don’t require a mounting kit or speaker connectors. Some need factory system integration adapters to match a new stereo to factory equipment (these are not free, but are half-price with a stereo priced $129.99 or more).

I'd recommend getting the metra xsvi-5520 instead of the dumb harness Crutchfield sells. It is a lot more expensive, but you keep the Retained Accessory Power feature (stereo doesn't shut off until door is opened) and won't have to find a source of switched 12v. I got it, the antenna harness, dash kit and deck at sonicelectronix.com. They'll knock $12.99 off of the harness and dash kit if you order a deck at the same time.

also, beware that the paint on the metra dash kit is crap and you need to baby it or the black plastic below will show through. it also seems to be a little too short and the center air vents wont clip in properly.

If you notice the Crutchfield kit gives you both options for a single din and DD....i would go with them, you always get support service with their products. You can never lose with their customer service.

I will never buy anything audio from anyone other than crutchfield. They hook you up with so many free goodies when you buy, plus like said above, they have outstanding customer service.

I gotta AVIC-D3 which is basically the same as the new avic-f700bt...the only difference is the D3 will play DVDs.....and the 700...will only play video format such as MP4 and WMA. I got my avic up for sale for $525 shipped...which will include the navi unit, ipod hook up, & remote. Also will throw in a ipod cradle that you might be able to use for your car. I already have the wiring harness bypassed so you can use the navi and watch dvds while you driving. Hit me up if you interested.

there are two kits made for the 08/09 foci, scosche and metra. I would suggest the metra kit. i've had better luck with their kits over scosche in the past (i'm an installer by the way) with quality and looks. the main difference i've noticed between the two is the curve at the bottom of the radio opening. metra follows the stock curver and goes around the radio opening as where mettra has a straight line accross that goes through the opening and to me looks tacky. both kits will fit either a din radio with a pocket below it or a double din with a trim ring. I have the metra kit in mine with a single din and it works great. let me know and I can get a pic of it for ya if you would like
