So I really like the look of my factory radio.in my 2005 zx-4 se. But i want something that give better sound. Should I add an amp and replace the speakers. Or go with a new deck and upgrade the speakers? I dont want to loose my ipod, xm radio or steering wheel controls.

if you want to keep the factory deck, and gain sound quality, then the only option is a signal processor, like the cleansweep, or the rockford three sisty

personally id stick with the fosgate, best signal processor ever made imo

then you can add a 4-channel amp, and new speakers

what i would do, is replace the speakers first, if you like the way it sounds, then your good, if not, then add the signal processor, and a 4-channel amp

yeah what matt said is correct....you "could" hook a 4 channel amp up to a factory radio using a 4 ch line output converter but thats like buying a Ferrari but running the crappiest gas you can find....it works but you are not getting the true potential out of it

if your looking for just a better sound, stick with the factory radio and add a line out converter, new speakers and an amp to power them and possibly a 8" sub like the one in svts. it will be great sounding inside and your trunk wont rattle and we wont hear you down the block. i've ran a setup like this for almost a year and i love it, inside it sounds amazing and outside you wont hear anything unless the windows are down and i turn it up some
