hey, i bought the line out connectors to run my subs and amps with the stock head unit. can i connect the remote wire from the amps to the radio switch wire on my head unit? or would i be better off just putting a switch on the power wire?

You should be able to use the stock radio remote wire , unless you just want to add a switch . It's completely up to you in which route you want to take .

Use a fuse such as the gauges fuse, and tap into that. It can be any fuse that is in use while the car is running. So grab your manual and look up a fuse that will work. And I believe the one from the radio doesn't provide enough amps.

does the wire have to go anywhere after the fuse or just end it in with the fuse?

Yea stick one end of the wire tapped into the fuse and the other end goes to amp. And if gauges doesn't work then guess around.

Just run the remote wire to the headunit. Remote wire does not need to transfer power. It is just to turn the amp on and off. Run it from the amp into the headunit.

Yea the remote wire has about a 5 volt signal.
