I should of asked this before, but my car has what appears to be two redlines. The thin redline goes from 6500-7000 RPM and the thicker one goes beond that. Why is it set up this way? By the way, the car shifts at 6500RPM max.

I think the cutoff is more like 6750, IIRC.

If i read correctly for automatic the tranny can only handle 7000 rpms. I will try to locate that thread and link it.
