hey

so ive got 2 crappy oem fog lights.. 1, the reflectors melted in. litterly it MELTED off of the "body" of the innards. 2nd, both lenses are pitted and seem to be Melted. so i bought a brand new one... 42$.. this week ill get the other side.. then put them in together.

with the old.. i want to rebulild them.. My way [wrenchin]

2 questions... how in the heck do you get the lense off of the body?
how much wattage draw can the wiring handle? like the stock bulbs are 55W.. can they handle more?

thanks a bunch.

i don't know about the lense, but you need to build a heavier duty harness for more wattage + plus a 30 amp relay and a new fuse, this has been gone over a whole lot lately. i bet if you us the search feature it will answer all(if you don't want to wait...). but since u posted i'm sure someone will know.

yeah ive been reading your post about the headlights and such.

im dealing with the crappy OEM fogs...
because of the design i got to fab up something.. new reflectors and lenses into the stock holder and accept the bulb/wiring.. but i need to get the old lenses off of the light.. :(

i do have a set of fogs i put in.. little 3 1/2 inchers HID wana Bees totally different wiring hares and everything built my way ;) im going to be popin them out and putting in some 120-150W 6inchers, dont remember the maker.. yes, my wires, switch, fuse's, can handle the wattage on the ones i built.
