So I'm in the process of "re-stancing" my 02 Focus SE with SVT springs, and I noticed that the rear springs have that rubber cushion looking thing on there. If I were to remove that what would it do? how much lower would it make the car and what would the ride be like? And what would it look like all around, would the front end look higher than the rear? If anyone has pictures of a sedan with SVT springs, either with or without the rubber piece, that'd be awesome. Thanks! [popcorn]

I believe you're referring to the spring isolators. The are used to keep the springs properly centered in their mounts and reduce potential noises caused by metal to metal contact.

Alright thanks dude, I wasn't sure if they were necessary, but it looks like I'll be leaving them on
