Last night I had difficulty getting the rear hatch of my 2001 Focus wagon to lock. Today I can't get it to lock at all. I lubed it and examined it and nothing seems wrong to my eye. Any ideas on this one? Thanks!

This happened on my hatch, the linkage broke that sends the signals... Pop off the cover and take a look

Quit possible, the release button on the dash has been non functional for awhile now. I assume the cover is on the hatch itself?
