Rear Defroster

Hello…Have a mystery wire on my 2018 SE Hatch…I’m assuming it’s for the rear defroster as it doesn’t work…pulled the panels and have no clue where to plug it in..with panels off it’s only 6-7 inch long…any help would be great..thanks~john

Sure it doesn't solder directly to the glass? Get ready for grief if it does, that is not easily repaired.
