if i re flash or retune the ecu you think
it will take care of the low end torque loss
on my atx.
Either that or go back to stock.

i remember reading that if you get a tuner you can adjust shift points and shifting becomes better.

Well, get them to beef up that part of the power band slightly. They can adjust the spark curve and fuel metering I believe, so maybe they can add a little more spark and a little more fuel.

You might look at getting a lentech(sp?) valve body. That will change the way that car shifts. If they make one, you may look at a shift kit also. It would be cheaper than the valve body, but you would have to install the kit into your current valve body. If you get the lentech, it will already be assembled, and valve bodies are easy to install. We put a shift kit in the mustang and it totally changed it. Took a few hours to get it all installed right and adjusted how we wanted it. For a real boost in bottom end on an automatic though, a higher stall torque converter is a must.
