[Pezlam]

I got a faint (but highly annoying when you know it shouldnt be there) rattling noise coming from the left side of the engine bay (if your stood looking at your car from the front) on my ford focus zetec, at first i thought it might be exhaust related but i can hear it more clearly if i put my ear to the right wheel, the wheel near the cam belt, i had a poke around on google and heard that it could be the cambelt cover, it doesnt sound internal or anythings gunna explode in the near future but its just really making me pissed at my focus.

any help would be extremely appreciated Thanks

hmm no good at zetecs, my car is making a similiar noise, maybe your endlinks need to be replaced? or bushings are getting bad, jsust poke around and see if u see any leaks etc

geez dude i just started having this prob about a week ago. although the noise stops once the car is warmed up. ive yet to jump in and search for this head on...maybe this weekend. ill post if i find anything on mine( zetec also,03 )

by bushing you mean the rubber things on my engine mounts ?
