Hi, just joined so I don't know if this has been brought up before. Bought myself a 2.0 Ghia Zetec last week and it's absolutely brill - my last car was a 1.4 Renault 5 Campus so it's a bit of a step up.

Anyway, I'm curious as to how accurate the electronic range readout is. I put £5 in this morning but the range didn't increase whereas it has every other time I have filled up (the smallest amount I've put in before today has been £10 and the range number increased dramatically on that occasion).

Also, does the red warning light for low petrol activate after the range counter has reached 0 or before? The manual doesn't appear to mention this.

Probably silly questions but I'm still getting used to the car so any comments would be much appreciated.

The fuel gage should be fairly accurate on flat ground. My low warning light turns on at about 1/8 of a tank, but it goes on and off depending if the vehicle is facing up or down a steep slope.

Good luck with the new car.
