Seventeen cars entered the Children's Book Run last Saturday, including one Ford, which came in 2nd in Novice class. The entrants as a group donated 54 new children's books, which have already been delivered to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. This rally was the fourth in our 2015 Championship Series.

The Great Pumpkin Rally is next on our schedule. It will be held on Saturday, October 24. It will start in Sachse and end in Paris, Texas, where the annual Festival of Pumpkins will be in full swing. This event is known for its punny signs and pretty roads, so go to msreg.com/GPR15msr to preregister, or to get further information.

Are you ready for a Halloween sign hunt? How about some east Texas scenery? And we have lots of puns for your enjoyment! No special car needed. Just a full tank of gas, a pencil, and a sense of humor. Course–following will be easy. All roads are paved.

+ Registration & Start – Sachse Municipal Complex, Building B; 3815 Sachse Road, Sachse, Texas 75048
+ Registration opens at 9:00 am, Saturday, October 24.
+ Safety Briefing 10:00am.
+ First Car out 10:31am.
+ Ending – Downtown Paris for the Festival of Pumpkins (arts, crafts, antiques, food vendors, and other stuff!).
+ Register at msreg.com/GPR15msr .

This is an SCCA GTA (Games, Tours, Adventures) rally. This is not a timed event, except that you do have an overall amount of time to finish the event. This time will be generous. There will be no reason to speed. Any kind of street-legal four-wheel vehicle with at least two people in the car who can read may enter.

We have averaged 27 entries in our rallies this year.
