I have the factory 6 disc cd changer. But my question is i have Fm 1, Fm 2 and Fm AST. What is Fm AST. I never have had it on a radio before.

ast = automatic scan tracking....i think, that's the only reasonable thing i could come up with after 10 mins of googling....

maybe its one of those things that scans through the channels, and only lets you get the clear channels in...

so say you get all of the fm stations with fm 1 and 2, but with ast, it filters the ones that have a weak signal

thats about all i can think of...

It means Automatic Store Tuning. Basically it searches for the 6 strongest transmitters and stores them in the AST program preset memory. In FM, duplication of PI codes will be avoided. Thats what it is!!
