I was driving around last night and throughout the night I would notice a lag in pull when I accelerate in 2nd and 3rd. I was like ok maybe I will have to figure this out in the morning. I went through the drivethru at deltaco and while I was ordering a big pop goes off under my hood and all of the sudden there is steam engulfing my car. my car was still running. I turned it off and pushed my car to a parking stall but I couldnt see anything because the lot was dark. Everything was wet in my engine compartment. any ideas? Radiator? busted hose? I couldnt see any physical broken parts or hoses.

There was this heater hose outlet tube just above my radiator that exploded

You may have another problem in which the result was a 'blown' hose. If your engine is overheating - that will usually show up as a lag/ or sluggish acceleration and your coolant system will have a great pressure within the system until it finds a source of release..... the hose.
