My girlfriends brother is a total jerk to me and always makes fun of me and my SVT. I don't mind getting ragged on but when you talk about the focus....its gotta stop. Well he drives a Dodge Stealth ES(not sure year)with an intake(K&N). They show up to 164 hp i think but thats all I know. If i race him, will the SVT dominate and shut him up?

you should be able to take him, is it and automatic or manual tranny, plus the stealth weights alot more than we do, if it helps i took out an dodge stratus r\t with a manual tranny

He has an ES which is the lower end model, you might have a chance but I have no idea how fast they are, if I had to guess I woudl say about the same as an SVT.

As for the higher end versions of the stealth and 3000GT, you dont stand a chance with a stock SVT!

You'll kill him the stealth is a heavy slow bot unless it's the r/t. Plus the fact that it's an suto makes it even worse. He probably has the fwd 4 cylinder that can't even get out of it's own way. I'd say even if he had exhaust and an intake you'll still take him in the svt. Just make sure you get your launch and don't miss a shift, you'll take him easy.

i say it depends on the distance... when i first bought my svt it was bone stock and a friend of mine had a 3000gt it wasnt the VR4 so his was compairable to the stealth ES and he could usually get me outa the hole because the svt doesnt have much low end torque, but once i reached the higher rpms i would get by him... turn off you trac controll, and launch at around 3000 rpms that should be an alright spot for a stock svt.

222hp, 201tq, and 3000lbs.

They do say 0-60:7.1 and 1/4 Mile:15.6 for the 1991 Stealth ES however they also say 0-60:8.5 and 1/4 Mile:16.4 for the 1991 3000GT SL. Which is basically the same car just 200lbs heavier.

But either way you will probably beat him as long as you don't mess up.

ATTENTION:

i used to own a 92 dodge stealth es , automatic. bunch of problems with it i dont know about your friend. messed up pully, compression leakage, oil leakage. fun to drive, felt like a rocket but not all that fast. my friend owns it now, and i have my focus 2.3 automatic, i beat him at startoff and get a lead on him but then he starts pulling because his is a v6 and is geared different i guess. you have an svt, nail that sucka

Hey, so I know a Russian, He drives a stealth R/T. He thinks he's cool. He's not. So the point is, I beat him in a 1/4 mi. And I drive a stock d20-x4.
