Well I have been super busy with all the things going on in my life and haven’t posted for awhile so here is an update. I recently got a shop to work out of so now everything takes place there. Now onto the details the t5 trans with adaptor plate stuck to far out so I opted for the rx8 trans since it was smaller and would take less work to fit. Also fitted the engine with a dry sump oil system because needed more room for more low and proper engine oiling. Rear suspension is finished and I have managed to finish the back half with exception to the fire wall that still needs to go in. I also built some sweet bbs Rs wheels which I powder coated in a oven I built out of an old freezer. I love the look but unfortunately can’t fit my big bermbo brake kit under them so ill see what I end up doing with those. Another major thing I am doing is switching to a mega squirt to run the engine and cops, even picked up a raspberry pi and screen to run tunerstudios and have the gauges displayed from it. Not sure if I announced it here or not but the car is also Rhd now, picked up a dash from the UK cheap but shipping was not very kind. Oh and also managed to source brand new Oem JDM power folding mirrors. I’m sure I forgot things but now for the pictures, Enjoy!
Here starts build thread V2...pictures and less chatter I hope. While staying on topic.
LETS GET TO IT!!
So Betsy was bought back in February of 2012, and was the first car I owner myself. She is a 2002 Ford Focus Se and had 24,000 miles on her when I first bought her. It was a grocery getter...
Here‘s my 2011. Received it last year with only 20,000mi, all original. I reckon no one wanted to see a bone stock SE sedan with two years of unwashed pollen on it, seven hornets nests in all the door/trunk/hood gaps, and absolutely zero panache so let’s jump right to it’s current iteration...
I just bought a 2000 Ford Focus SE wagon I got it for a cheap price of $400 it has a cracked thermostat housing and a bad heater core and I'm thinking of fixing it . I've been looking at some turbos and a few replacement parts to make her a sleeper
