For some reason when the temperature outside dips to approaching freezing, the radio volume will automatically lower to 0. If I turn it up, it lowers to 0 again continuously. Then on days where its slightly warmer, I'll turn on the car and the radio works like normal. I'm not sure if maybe a wire is loose, or if the whole radio would need to be replaced. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Let's try this in "Car Audio" to see if anyone has seen anything of the type.

Probably the digital encoder they use for volume control now. Soldered in and you won't be changing that unless you got electrical tech equipment. New radio time. No wire, PC board there..........I changed one and cost $2 but a BIG hassle doing it. The plastic faceplate commonly cracks up in pieces from heat if you live in hot climate.
