My amp was going into protection because I was asking too much from it. So I added an amp to the setup. Amp #1 powers the 4 door speakers and amp #2 is just for the sub. Both are Alpine V powers but 1 is a 4 channel, the other a mono. They look kind of cool looking like a matched pair. Anyway nothing has dropped out so far. I hope to post pics of the updated setup soon. I am looking for a solution to keep that darn sub box from sliding around. I'll post a new thread for that topic as it might apply to other peeps.

You just need either a heavier box, heavier subs or both. My 2 15's in a ported box don't move at all, then again it take 2 people to move it safely.
