ok so this has been going on for a while and still dont know why.. everytime only one side of my car hits a bump.. i.e. passenger or driver. the whole car sways like the back end wants to slide out.. it doesnt do it if the whole car hits a bump only one side. and driving in the rain. its worse. anything over 40 on a wet road i feel like im going ot fish tail or hydroplane. its really hard to explain. the car just jerks back and forth when i hiit a bump. well inbtween a sway n jerk. hope i explained well enough

1. Start by checking the tires. Interior and exterior edge. They are your lifeline on a wet road.

2. Check the subframe bolts front and rear (total of 10). They've been known to come loose and create a "crabbing" type response when going over rough road surfaces. Especially if there is a good size pothole.

3. Alignment. Alignment will cause a steady pull, but not an erratic pattern. Certainly, if a suspension component is bad or completely broken, the alignment is out of whack, but that is not the root cause of the issue.

Good luck! [thumb]

Do you have aftermarket rear sway bar? If you have bigger than stock SVT RSB and stock in the front, then that might be causing the problem. Some times when you over tighten the RSB it would also do the problem you mention above(I know this because after i put a SVT RSB on mine and overtighten them bolts the problem you stated happened). Your car looked slammed low to the ground(looking at your avatar) what kind of suspension set up do you have? It could also be a camber issue? Like others said, take it for a 4 wheel alignment and this should take care of the problem.

Please get an alignment and let us know. I been in that situation before in the fofo and the fun factor went from 10 to 2. I know what you feeling right now. IMO, ford dealership will get you the best alignment to your car based on experience only.
