Well i've never really taken pre-workouts as most of the exercise i do is of strong cardio base. I just recently bought a pre-workout and my girlfriend was saying that I might get a tolerance to it.

I don't consume many caffeinated drinks or products.... Hate the taste of coffee. Tea and a soda every full moon would be the only caffeine i take in.

No need to take a typical pre-workout for cardio workouts. In fact, taking a pre-workout that I would typically use for weight training kills my runs. I get too pumped and overheated.
If you want a good cardio pre-workout mix then make your own that does not contain L-Arginine and other pump-inducing stuff.
For a hard run I will mix up 2 tbsp of dextrose, 100-200mg caffeine, and 5g BCAA with some water and drink 30 minutes prior.
Yes, I keep containers of unflavored caffeine, dextrose, and BCAAs on hand. :)

For weight lifting I like 1MR and C4 Extreme.
