i have a 2003 focus tdci, the steering seems to be sticking if i turn left or right? even when i am driving it stiffens then loosens up? Ive checked the power steering fluid amd that seems to be fine(no leaks and above max). Can anyone give me some advice please?

It might help to change the PS fluid. Mine steered easier after I changed it with synthetic fluid.

I have the same problem, had it serviced and the garage couldnt find anything wrong. But if i leave the car overnight and then try to set of she pulls to the left and its like i have to crack the steering wheel to the right to overcome the back pressure but then after about a mile she warms up and there is no pulling or cracking noise when i try to turn right.
Did you have any luck with fixing the problem?
