Power Steering Pump Pulley Shaft Broke!

Okay, so I am a victim of my power steering pump pulley shaft breaking right off. I've replaced the power steering pump no problem, but I can't get the damn borken shaft out of the pulley! Any tips??? Thanks! [pray]

There ARE special pullers, but when you're just dealing with a stubby off the pump have you had luck setting it loose in a vise & using hammer/drift?

(flat with the stub between the jaws)
