I have a 2003 Focus SE with the 2.0 sohc engine. I need to flush my old fluid out since it's black. I want to get the right power steering fluid. What do I get? The mercon ?

Mercon or Mercon V is fine as well as many other ATF fluids. PS fluid is simply auto trans fluid without the dye, Ford uses whatever ATF fluid is in the shop currently as the PS fluid too. Dexron, Ford type F will work perfectly too, just don't mix them.
