so just realized, why the hell are we so off topic, just ignore the prick and post more pics...gesh...

everyone gets the their panties in a bunch, if one person on here doesnt like my focus, ok, cool... didnt know i bought it to please you.

so... on to more mods...
Agreed, and since these cars are in their first model year, most of the mods are going to be home grown, as there is very little aftermarket support yet. The reason I frequent this and other threads like it is to get ideas for my car. You can bet those aftermarket manufacturers are lurking on threads like this for much the same reason.[thankyou]

We could probably all quote back to you what you said. You opened mouth and inserted your foot big time and deserved the flames. Now, let's get back on topic...

I'm saving up for my mods at the moment but heres what I plan on adding in order:

3M DiNoc CF Vinyl on the front grill, side mirrors, chrome trim and emblem area on the hatch. As well as interior metal trim.

Black and White Ford emblems.

Roof Air Spoiler. Not sure if I wanna wrap it, paint it White Platinum or Charcoal gray.

Ford Racing handling kit once its out. The kit installs front struts, rear shocks, springs and front and rear roll bars. Lowers the whole car about an inch. And comes with a 3 year/36,000 warranty on top of Fords New Vehicle Warranty covering the Ford Racing parts.

Plasti-dip my OEM 17" multi-spoke wheels and paint over the black with a white design.

Steeda CAI and FSWerks stealth exhaust. These are the ones I've chosen for now but if the ST rear bumper becomes available I'll go for a center exhaust instead.

Gratuitous photos near the beach. [histerical]

Got a long way to go on this but I'm dead set on it. [grinking]

Oh! And heres an early version of the vinyl work I'm planing.
I request more pictures [headbang]

How easy does the carbon fiber go on? I found some 3M on eBay.
Its quite forgiving to work with DiNoc Vinyl. All you need is a heat gun or blow dryer and a sharp knife to cut off the excess. If you accidentally wrinkle it while applying it you can pull it back off, blast it with the heat gun and it'll smooth out again. Air bubbles can be moved out easily as well if any form before wrapping the edges.

Everything else is down to how well you know how to work with vinyl. Heat helps a lot when applying it and it stretches fairly well without warping the pattern too much.

Theres a lot of videos on youtube of people wrapping different parts of cars, Thats also a good way to learn how to work with it.

I'm talking about 3M DiNoc vinyl specifically, dont know how other vinyls with CF textures will behave. I ordered mine on http://www.carbonfiberfilm.com

They ship free 4"x8" samples as well. Its 8 bucks per sample but its a good way to see if you like how the material looks. 2 samples was enough for me to
wrap the parking brake and shiftier.

I should also note that for some larger application a sort of adhesive base may be needed on the wrap-around edges. I think 3M has a recommended one as well but I need to re-check that.

the only good mods ive seen so far in this thread is the 3M Dinoc. the rest are what you cal american-rice. no wonder why focus' never receive any real tuner potential or attention for that matter, are because of these [email protected]$$ "mods" that everyone(domestic owners) can come up with. im not pro-import nor domestic-basher im a FORMER focus owner myself.
Lol, I've seen you bashing in two threads in like 5 minutes... You really seem pretty chill and mature. [thumb] If you don't have anything nice to say than don't say anything. Why look for fights on the internet?

yup, its a DD. Not going to see much other modding at this time. Although a nice intake, borla exhaust and Steeda sts would be nice ....

i have the same trunk liner. the wheels are Niche NR6's. the 18's were almost impossible to get. waited about 2 months & damn near a law suit. it's a long ebay story. but in the end it was worth the wait because i got them for cost. i wish the pro kit was a tad lower. oh. and that is my new Magnaflow exhaust. I have the magnaflow but I hated the tip so I just put a 3inch rolled tip on it.
