give me some time tomorrow morning and i can take pictures of all of it so you can see better pictures of the mounts and all. i can do that when there is light out.

i installed mine without any instructions. if you have basic understanding of how things go together, it's pretty easy as everything just fits right together.

yes you will need to remove the battery. as you can see i removed the whole intake system. you will need the angle piece that where the hose connects to the bottom of hte intake filter box. that will clip onto the hose that came with aem kit and will snap into the new intake pipe. i'll take pics of that as well tomorrow. make sure your battery will be disconnected for at least 15 minutes so when you hook up your new cai, the computer will learn for the increase in air coming into the engine.

Do not remove that bolt under the old air intake box, it is a major engine mount and you will drop your engine.....not good......

This really isn't that hard of an install, to be honest... and I think the type of clamp you are talking about is the kind that you take off with pliers, you just squeeze it with the pliers to open it enough to remove the hose.

no i think he's talking about the crimp clamps. those just come off i think they are one time clamps. just go to autozone or sears hardware and buy some nice 3" hose clamps.

yeah just pry those off superfly. they have little clips on them that lock them onto itself.

needle nose unless you want to get the special pair of pliers to take them off[:D]
or just stick a flat head screwdriver inbetween the lock and pop it apart. either way works

My mistake, for some reason I thought he was talking about the breather hose... [:I] Duh.

Unless you are planning on possibly reinstalling the stock air intake, or selling it, you don't need to worry too much about those clamps. Just take your time and don't rush it, you should be able to do this with basic hand tools.

Jeez this shouldn't be a multi-day project. You also don't have to remove the entire battery support, just the battery itself.

Band clamp removal:

1. Pry the yellow part up and away from the red part so they no longer clasp together. You must do this from both sides of the clamp so it fully disengages.
2. The purple dot is a tab sticking up through a slot, which is green in the diagram. You need to slide the tab to the end of the green slot. I used a flathead and a blunt object.

Done.
