Hello everyone, I recently lowered my car and installed a short throw shifter, I feel the big difference on how the car handles on windy roads, but after installing the shifter do I need to adjust the cables? and if I do, how do I do it? my concern is what if the gears are not engaging completly?

i just lowered my car two weeks ago. i went with the eibach pro-kit. here's a link for a how to on adjusting the shifter cables without the alignment tool.

i think you need two people to do it this way. i think one person has to hold the shifter as close to nuetral as possible

Does the car move?
Yes: they are engaging completely

There really is no almost in a transmission. With a clutch, yes, but gears, no.

well, it could be hard to engage if out of alignmet. but i dont think lowering the car would change the alignment at all. but like he^ said if the car moves it is in gear.

when i installed one i couldnt get it in 5th or rev. a simple adjustment fixed it pretty easy.
